Evans Bipi wins assembly seat in Ogu-Bolo

Loquacious lawmaker in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Evans Bipi has been re-elected to represent Ogu-Bolo state constituency for another four years.

He was declared the winner of the polls by the returning officer for the election in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Walter Collinus, stating that the lawmaker polled the highest number of votes at the polls.

Meanwhile, the House of Assembly member-elect for Ogu/ Bolo constituency, Evans Bipi, in his acceptance speech, urged the people of the area to be law abiding and ensure that the LGA remains non violent throughout the time of elections.

He pointed out that this was a trying moment for the state, enjoining his constituents to remain peaceful and prayerful as God has the final say.
