Court sacks Kwankwaso’s son-in-law from Saturday’s Kano guber poll

Leader of Kwankwasiya Movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will not be voting for his son-in-law, Abba Yusuf on Saturday in Kano as a Federal High Court sitting in Kano today nullified the primary election that led to his emergence as governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State.

Delivering his ruling in a suit brought a gubernatorial aspirant, Ali Amin-Little, of the PDP in the state, Justice Lewis Alagoa maintained that the PDP did not conduct governorship primary election in Kano and declared the candidature of Yusuf null and void.

Amin-Little had approached the court challenging the process that led to the emergence of Yusuf as PDP gubernatorial candidate in Kano.
