PDP Chieftain assures Atiku of Bonny votes

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, Bright Hart says his kinsmen will vote for Abubakar Atiku and Nyesom Wike, the PDP presidential and governorship candidates, respectively.

Hart, who is the Chief of Protocol to the Bonny LG Chairman, assured Atiku of the votes of Bonny people, saying the people of the area were tired of the antics of the APC led Federal Government.

In a statement signed by him and made available to newsmen, Hart thanked the Chairman of Bonny LGA, David Irimagha for finding him worthy to be appointed as Chief of Protocol.

He maintained that “we all know that Bonny people were well-off during the era of the PDP in power but our people are now wallowing in poverty, barely able to put food on their table”.

He further called on the people of the area to come out en masse to welcome the state Governor, Nyesom Wike to Bonny Island on Monday for the PDP campaign rally.

“Our Governor has Bonny LGA in his heart and would do more for our communities when he returns for s second term in office. We need to come out en masse to receive him on Monday and also vote massively for him during the elections.”

“We cannot continue to wallow in poverty by willingly voting for APC again. Let the people of Bonny LGA vote for Atiku and Wike and all other PDP candidates so that we can get ourselves out of this situation”.
