Finima goes agog as Street Praise by Mayor and Friends goes live

In three days’ time, the serene town of Finima in Bonny Local Government Area will be agog as the maiden edition of “Street Praise by Mayor and Friends” kicks off. An aspect of the programme includes an End of Year Thanksgiving.

To make the much publicized event lit are an array of gospel artistes from Rivers State and beyond.

These include Brown and the Levites, Charles Longjohn, Iro, Jesus Boy, Chibee Daniels, MC JP, MC BigSolo, Molly B, Sensational Bamidele, Victoria George, Prospa aka Ekwueme, CC Johnson, dCEE King, Fubby Brown, and a host of others.

Chief host of the event, Aladiokuma Hart, who is also the Chairman of the Bonny Integrated Recruitment Centre (BIRC) said over a thousand guests are expected at the event billed to hold at the Finima Playground on Sunday, 23rd of December, 2018 from 5pm.

Hart, popularly known as Mayor by his friends explained that the purpose of the Street Praise was to mainstream worship and make it a way of life.

“God has given us so much from life to all kinds of blessings all through the year and we need to seize this opportunity to offer our appreciation for all He has done for us. That is why my friends and I have come up with this concept and we hope to make it an annual event.”

He further stated that “worship and praise to God Almighty should be our way of life. We should give God the prominence in all we do for who He is, what has done and for all he is still doing for us”.

The former Chairman of Finima Youth Congress (FYC) urged everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to share in an exhilarating experience of worship and fellowship with God’s children, stressing that “this is an experience you can never forget”.
