2018 BIM: Essence of Marathon, Unity Achieved, More To Come - Recruitment Centre Boss

The essence of organizing the 2018 Bonny Island Marathon has been achieved and with this same spirit of oneness and singleness of purpose, youths of Bonny Kingdom can achieve whatever they want to achieve.

The Chairman of the Bonny Integrated Recruitment Centre (BIRC), Aladiokuma Hart, said this in a chat with Kristina Reports during the award presentation ceremony in Bonny Island today.

According to the recruitment centre boss, “marathon has brought all the youths of Bonny together. As you can see, we’re all gathered here without minding our differences.”

“And you knw with this spirit, collectively, if we want peace, we can achieve it. Collectively, if we want development we can achieve. Collectively, if we want jobs we can achieve it. Whatever it is that we want, collectively, we can always achieve them where there is unity and oneness”.

He promised that the winner of the marathon, Success Yakubu has to be supported to scale up his career in athletics having won every marathon competition in Bonny LGA so far.  

He thanked the Bonny LG Chairman, David Irimagha, his Vice, Anengi Barasua, and all other sponsors for supporting the event.

He, however, advised the youths of the area to eschew social vices and other acts inimical to the progress and wellbeing of the community, pointing out the importance of publicizing the kingdom positively.
